Whilst I agree Skrtel was ****ing awful, I find it hard to accept the shambolic capitulation was all down to him. We have a soft squad, mentally weak, and it's not going to improve until a lot of the **** is replaced.

its not new info, but a couple of months back skrtel was out with some foreign chaps from that side of europe and when he tried to go back to their hotel for a late night bevvy he was refused and cos he was already trollied he kicked off big time...
people from the club get in touch to kick off and after a conversation with the manager and someone at the club the manager takes the cctv down to show the people at the club...
skrtel then sheepishly has to apologise, etc.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

100%.
If one player can seriously cause that complete and utter implosion, then really genuinely have a problem at the club. I think we have a bunch of wimps in the side anyways but if the general consensus on here is that it was Skrtel's fault for us losing a 2-0 lead & he spread wide panic throughout the other 10 players on the pitch & even cause our strikers and midfield to pussy out.... well we must have the most wimpy, mentally fragile bunch of players in the league.
Sell everyone so, because that is completely unacceptable

I know Mignolet wont be sold but he'll need to be replaced as No 1 though, I think Allen is maybe off though, I think he's a good squad player, but if you want to improve this position like we desperately need, then someone has to go, I reckon Allen is going ahead of Can, Milner and Henderson, we'll have Grujic coming in and probably anther CM.Originally posted by calvoboy View PostI think he's signalled pretty clearly that Mignolet is staying, even if most of us would prefer we got someone better. Kolo, Skrtel, and Benteke will all be gone, as will Moreno if we can find a buyer, but I'd be surprised if Allen or Mignolet went. Lovren too - turning into a decent player in the end. Henderson could well go though...* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Exactly. We have wasted huge amounts of money in the last few summers without really improving the squad or team, just changing it. If we are to progress it must must must be more of 'an adjustment' than a complete refurb. That means deciding that some players, though not good enough, can be left in place for another year.Originally posted by The_weatherman View Post... Klopp will have to prioritize, he can't sell everyone.
We need to focus on the biggest weaknesses. We know we give goals away too cheaply. I think that means changing the keeper, improving our line-up of centre backs, and adding height to the team, but this year's full backs will need to be next year's too.
We also know we are not creative enough in midfield. I think we need more power in midfield (either a fixed Henderson, the new guy or another purchase) and someone who can carry the ball distance and into the defenders at speed (could've been Ibe but it looks like he might not make it; ditto Markovic; so maybe another purchase). And I think that is it.

No, his time has more definitely come even as a squady I would prefer players like Kolo or Gomez taking those spots. I think last Sunday was one **** up too many for the majority of fans .. they have 100% turned on him and I cannot see him coming back from that shocker and ultimately costing us any chance of getting 4thOriginally posted by Alex View PostWhoa! Lets not be hasty about Allen now. He is probably the most useful squaddie we have.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015
