They were all poor.........clearances weren't great. Wasn't a great header for the first goal, was more interested in clearing it than putting it somwhere safe, but Clyne's positioning was all wrong and completely unaware of the danger, Lovren had his natural charges (root cause of the third), some of Skrtel's headers lacked distance, hesitation on the ball from boith CBs, Gomez' inexperience showing etc

I'm not sure in the grand scheme of things there is much to separate Skrtel and Lovren. They're both ****. Rash in the tackle, positionally suspect. Bomb the pair of them out. Jokers.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.Comment

He's clearly not **** and cleared everything before that. But yup backed off and was at fault for the goal, Clyne wasn't exactly amazing in that scenario either. It would have been nice for our whole entire midfield to actually have shown up today too.Comment

Skrtel like many CBs excels in the physical game. He cut out everything and marked Fellaini out of the game and cut out Herrera. Matched against a pacey, tricky player you could see him backing off and he got done.
He's a good CB in a very dysfunctional side. He is the least of our problems.Comment
