So your right. I'm probably mixing him and sterling up there's been a lot drunk since then. Anyway I still think playing in a team with confidence n good players is valid. when he had balotelli lambert and borini upfront it would have been easy to mark him.
He was ****ing great today. Looked confident, has got a good turn of pace and a few tricks. Even when he lost the ball, he fought and didn't let his head go down, and he didn't lose it often. He and Clyne look like they could develop a decent partnership.
Best I've seen him play Iiiiibbbbbbbaaaaayyyy! eBay?
This could be his Sterling 2013/14 season - the money-grubbing turncoat traitor (boooooooo!) was pretty spotty in the first half of the season and indeed people wanted him loaned out but then he showed that playing him week in week out paid dividends. Okay Ibe has less to work with quality wise right now but it'll do him a world of good.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
When he was brought down just outside the box he looked over to the bench & was subbed out a minute or so later if I'm not mistaken. If my memory is right there may be something in this. I hope not naturally.
I think he's a decent player he just needs to work on his final ball.
