Rodgers big grin doesn't seem to be anywhere to be seen. He has to say most of this positive guff etc, but he seems very serious. I much prefer this focused approach & not giving much away.

He's under huge pressure this season, make or break. Hope we hit the ground running. Stoke the ****s, are due a good thrashing.

Looking forward to the start of the season now. Squad looks good and hopefully Benteke will be announced tomorrow and we can have a clearout and get one or two more in before the window shuts.

There should still be money to spend as the Sterling transfer haspretty much covered what we've spent which is excellent IMO.

It's not just about transfer costs though it's also about wages bill. I can't see us doing too much more business this window.

I don't think we really need to either. We have enough depth in every position once Benteke arrives.
