Just looked up this stat, Gerrard and Sterling scored 16 of our 52 league goals last season.

Gerrard scored 9.....4 pens included. Sterling spawned more than he scored. Neither stat is hardly irreplaceable?

By the time you take 4 pens away that's 12 of our goals. I'm not overly worried.

Add Sturridge, Firmino, Origi, Ings and a new striker (hopefully) I would hope that those 5 should be able to add at least 30 goals, so replacing the 12 from Sterling an Gerrard shouldn't be an issue.

I think that photo was taken when Brendan said he had a good relationship with Sterling. Lucas thought otherwise!
