I seriously doubt he'd be considered. He won't get another chance at a big club until he sorts out his defensive organisation.

Yep. Like Rafa who spent time in Italy learning from the greats.

he gave us hope, albeit for a short period of time; but by god what a fantastic rollercoaster it was,,,, I salute you Mr Rodgers

Think the difference is Rafa kinda built up to the league challenge - and we were bossing it in Europe too (5-0 Real etc). Rogers' challenge was less impressive on the whole standard deviation thing.

Anyways, nice story with the grandad. Don't have the same love for him as I do rafa but hope it works out for him. Job defo came too early in his career.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

One thing I definitely won't miss about Rodgers interviews/press conferences was his insistence on often calling players 'young'.

i.e 'young firmino had to come off because he landed awkwardly' or 'young joe has been outstanding at left back'

I imagine if I was a player, I'd hate to be called that, a bit cringey.

You'd hate him saying you were outstanding when you've had a ****e game as well.

He should go and manage in Spain, Real Sociedad will be looking for someone.

I thought of Real Sociedad as well. Brendan can speak Spanish too, and he'll be out of the limelight from the UK press. It wouldn't really hinder his reputation over here, as it certainly hasn't done so with Moyes.

He turned us into title contenders. Good luck to him.
