I think the trainer put it on his Twitter.

Huw Jenkins seemed to stumble around Jake Humphrey's direct question around Rodgers returning to Swansea.

Well if Everton fans get their way Swansea may have their choice of former managers
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They could be spoilt for choice.

Of course there's nawt wrong with Brendan doing what he's doing, it's just that some see it all as part of his self publicising image crap.

Down on one knee to propose in a Private place in Ny, i know i know he didn't tweet the image, dressing like an 80's throwback in ill fitting youthful and bright (mainly cream) clothing, boxing to music in a look at me i'm cool ( but only if others see me doing it ) type way. Yeah i know, his trainer put the vid up, Brendan would have been mortified!

Was it just me hoping the trainer chinned Bodgers in that clip?

I've heard some unsubstantiated chat that Celtic are also looking at Rodgers? I actually think this would be a perfect move for him. Some easy silver wear for the CV and a guarantee of CL footy. Only down side is he wouldn't get the cash he is used to for signing duds. Oh and he'd have to live in Glasgow

Not great on your CV if you lose the league to Rangers mind.

No, would be a nightmare but you've got to think it will take Rangers a season to acclimatise and other than them it's silverware on tap for whomever is the Celtic manager. Whilst Hearts, Rangers and Aberdeen fight it out for 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

More interesting than going back to Swansea surely?

We're sure the former Liverpool manager appreciated this.
                              Or perhaps not.

Mark Quinn was filming the Belfast Marathon when he spotted a famous face among the runners.

It was the one and only Brendan Rodgers, and Mark couldn't resist providing the former Anfield boss with a form of encouragement that he is all too familiar with.

As the currently unemployed manager ran past, Mark encouraged with a shout of "great character!" as he sped past.

So funny that we're fairly certain Rodgers forgot to laugh.

That rug really tied the room together.

5/2 from 20/1 to be the next Celtic boss.
