I'd say you're pretty much bang on there. It was a worrying result, but we're going to get those with our squad as it is.

It's not knee jerk,it's a reaction to ****e that is happening. This team is not moving forward its at best static and possibly in decline. Maybe my footballing brain is not as in tuned as the rest of you,but I don't see any real positives in the team at the moment,with the slight exemption of the youngsters. well I'm of to get pissed at the Sgts mess prize draw,and when I wake up this might have just been a nightmare.

Yes we won but until Diame went off we were outmuscled in midfield

Today we played one of the youngest Villa midfields in years and were again unable to keep them quiet

I've no desire to see Rodgers booted out and comments about him being a fraud are beyond the pale but I must say I'm worried how he sets up the side in midfield

I think he has to make changes and by changes I mean make a signing in midfield that enables us to tighten things up and not be so open

Well that is not true. there midfield did next to nothing all game. To say we couldn't keep them quiet is nonsense. What we had a problem with was Benteke, not their midfield.

He's got to be given at least two seasons. I agree with you about the transfer window, he's got to get the right players in at the right price and hope they hit the ground running. It all depends what transfer funds his given though.
