Statistics means nothing at this stage. We've had such high standards that even a wee will look like a flood.

Let's give Rodgers time, at least until next season. Other teams have played this way successfully and there's no reason we can't in the long term. He needs to get the right players in to suit his system. His judgement will be questioned but only then.

Yes Sturridge is uninspiring but I'm afraid we aren't shopping at the top end of the market anymore. We need to be realistic.
