All waffle. Help and advice, second pair of eyes, identify targets, call in favours, taken pressure off... They sound like the roles opf assiatant manager, scout and wibble.

Maybe it would have helped in ways we can't know from outside the organisation, but people suggesting things would better are just guessing. Who knows, maybe it would have been worse. It's hyperthetcial and pointless.

At first i myself thought the same: what a great post, much more articulate and sensible than kingfunks usual ramblings. But then i realised the post wasnt by Kingfunk, it was from a poster on another website.

Lets judge him at the end of the season. He has made a few mistakes, but he will have to learn from them. He has hardly got a lot of options. He just needs to find a bit of consistency. He spent some cash on what he thought he would need preseason. Now he has a transfer window to try to pick up players he knows he needs. Hopefully he can get us going in 2013.

I am just suprised how little patience there is on here. If nothing else, I have leaned patience the last few years as a Liverpool supporter.

I haven't noticed much impatience in this thread, just disappointment. Is that wrong? I haven't seen anybody suggest that we should rid ourselves of yet another manager.

Just go with it just now. Its frustrating but this isn't the Rafa era between 06 and 09. This season is probably nearer the Houllier co-manager season, and its going to be irritating as ****.

It just might work out long term though. A lot of the issues we have could have been in some way addressed with a decent transfer window, but LFC didn't have one.

Get ****ed I actually don't have the time or the givea****ability to write articulate sensible reflections on here right now. I'm more than happy to share my studies on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics surrounding insulin dependent diabetic pharmacology!

I remember at the start of the season everyone on this forum bar a few pretty much agreed that this season would be one of mixed fortunes. Bad results were also expected. As was a bedding in period for the new manager and his players.

A lot of people are not letting that happen now. Far to quick to judge on the back of some bad results.

From what I can see we are doing well in games, and not finishing them off. It's positive from what I can see. I certainly can't call him a fraud.

We definitely don't have the squad right now to play his way all the time and results are certainly backing that up. I don't think we're far off, I think we're 2-3 players away.

I do think sometimes he talks a bit too much... for example, stating that Allen and Sterling are tired but that he can't afford to rest them... NURI ****ING SAHIN. The guy is a DM and raring to play so it makes perfect sense to give Allen a few games off and start Sahin alongside Lucas.
