Borini's got great movement and great work ethic. Some more technically gifted players don't have that and this is something hard to teach. He'll be alright, if not a world beater.
    Are we winning?

We're 9 points behind where we were this time last season under Kenny. 25 points, to Kenny's 34.

Kenny then picked up a dismal 18 points in the remaining 19 league games for a total of 52. So obviously we need 28 points in our last 19 games to better that. Given we have Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal away, it will not be easy.

Rodgers is definitely hamstrung by the colossal wastage of Kenny and Comolli, but to say there's a clear improvement (based only on Kenny's last 19 v Rodgers' first 19) is a bit disingenuous IMO.

We will know for sure at the end of the season, but it's worth remembering Kenny won us a Cup too, as well as taking us to another final.
It's also worth remembering that Kenny didn't have European football to get in the way. Unlike Roy & Rodgers.

Tbh, I'm not sure there is too much difference between all three managers. They've all made big errors. Roy was a fool who didn't get the Liverpool way, Kenny understood it more than anyone ever will. Rodgers is saying the right things.

But on the pitch, whilst there are different levels of entertainment, they have all pretty much got shocking results. It could be argued that all three got it wrong in the transfer market and didn't give themselves the best possible chance. But regardless, all three have failed with a certain set of "world class" players.

I don't think any of the three are bad managers, they're just not geniuses which is probably required to do anything with that load of tosh we pay wages for.

Good players, but weak minded and its ridiculous to see them cave in when the tide turns during a game.
      Forwards.......

Kenny's first half of his reign was great. When I said I felt there was improvement with Rodgers I specifically said it was an improvement on the end of Kenny's tenure as a manager.

So if we sack him (I'm not saying we should)

Who? Rafa would be my choice, but he's elsewhere occupied nowerdays.

There is probably no-one out there with any sense who would risk trying to take us forwards.

A mixture of Hodgson, Kenny, Commoli, H&G have ****ed this club.

He does but I don't think we'd give him the funds he'd want and he's such a cunt I'm not sure we could ever knock that out of him

Disagree. If you could pin point one point in our history where it all went downhill top to bottom. Was when Rafa opened his fat mouth to Boughton over Purslow. Otherwise he'd still be in a job with new owners. Boughton sacked Rafa and rest is history

There is more chance of Roy Keane getting married to Alf-Inge Haaland in Mick McCarthys house this NYE than Mourinho joining Liverpool FC.

I think he is starting to mellow out ever so slightly. He loves Us that it hurts him that he is not our manager. He wants a project as his next job and we would be perfect. Gerrard stills wants to play under Mourinho according to recent quotes and Mourinho still wants to manage him. I'd rather not see him at Utd.

I disagree he is a cunt. I think that is just an act in the press and you can see every player thats ever been managed by him thinks he is just this great guy.

Torres leaves the next available Transfer window after Boughton completes sale.

Never mind no other suitable buyers for LFC according to Boughton who said a stadium was a must for any new buyer . Since then only Getafe, Malaga, PSG, Notts Forest have been bought by Arabs.
