All of which was said about Purslow when he first arrived.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostI can only go on what I've heard about Ayre and that actually he's a sound bloke and clearly loves the club has its best interests at heart. Obviously best interests don't always transfer into what is actually best for the club

Well there are those more in the know than me on here about him and they seem to have good words to say on him, easy to guess at who is calling the shots on this type of thing but really it's all guess work and actually those comments could be made by journos to drum up interest, wouldn't be the first time

Is it really any different from any sizeable company anywhere? All managers work within constraints..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

We snapped up the Man City scouts, and just look at those tweets. It's as though we have a 'committee' which decides who we sign and don't sign, something contradictory to what Rodgers wanted (remember he wanted to have the final say on this committee).
We should've just stuck with the DOF model and we'd probably be better off right now.

Is what I said earlier. He's was dead against it, signed his contract and found himself without the final say anyway.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostWe snapped up the Man City scouts, and just look at those tweets. Financial constraints are perfectly acceptable in football but someone deciding a manager can't have who he wants is worrying, he has little chance of achieving what he wants if he can't sign who he wants.
