We don't really know what the situation is who is responsible for what, while some see it as isolating Rodgers only Pascoe came with him, Marsh was already here. We have no idea how good or bad either Marsh or Pascoe were at their jobs. Maybe FSG decided that Rodgers needed someone who would challenge him rather than a yes man as no2. Maybe they just thought it was time to freshen things up. I don't think this necessarily makes Rodgers position more insecure. I think we just need a different focus from the team and someone who offers new ideas, if we aren't making a managerial change I think that this makes sense. I may be wrong but I never really got the impression Pascoe or Marsh were anything other than average coaches.

Without anything to back that up with I think that's harsh.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostI think it's far more likely that Rodgers looked for scapegoats he could blame and found two - save his ass.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Some info from the review: wasn't #BR's idea to sack #Marsh & #Pascoe #FSG told him what was going to happen
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 21m21 minutes ago
@LFCZA this is what I was told last year, club under evaluation and there will be changes behind the scenes as..
to move us forward & he agreed.
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 36m36 minutes ago
To come to a conclusion with this review and evaluating the club #FSG have been taking advice from a third party who know much more than..
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 35m35 minutes ago
they do as I have tweeted before explaining this, #BR has kept his job but is by no means safe and still under review #LFC
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 29m29 minutes ago
Plus I don't think it will be #BR who will choose new staff members.
Kevin @KevinusPrime 33m33 minutes ago
@ceri23_lfc So you think he could still be sacked before the season starts?
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 27m27 minutes ago
@KevinusPrime I don't have any info that it would just be speculation tbh personally I think he will be given at least a few months.
Bhaz @BhazLFC 22m22 minutes ago
@LFCZA are FSG trying to force Brendan out?
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 21m21 minutes ago
@BhazLFC @LFCZA their apparently not trying to force BR out just doing what they think is best after receiving advice from a third party.
FBI noc @nocturnalvin 32m32 minutes ago
@LFCZA that media brief after Stoke was a clear indication he wasn't 100% safe despite ITKs claiming credit now.
Ceri23_LFC @Ceri23_LFC 23m23 minutes ago
@nocturnalvin @LFCZA he's still not 100% nobody really knew right up until just before the review.

So was that ****ing bear called Ben, but when provoked he knew what needed to be done. I met a bloke from Cornwall in magaluf once, he was convinced he was a pirate, boy could could he climb, outside balcony's 3 floors up, no problem. Ended up taking from stuff from peoples rooms and throwing it in the pool. Took 3 or 4 police to contain him. If he's still alive I choose him.Originally posted by Saveloy View PostWhy Cornwall?

But I wouldn't go judging Gentle Ben. He took a lot of ****, off set, from that 'butter wouldn't melt in his mouth' apple pie gap-toothed kid
