And yet if we sign Butland that's Reina gone IMO. This after Rodgers sadi he's not in the market for a keeper and Reina is No.1.

Jones didn't sign a new contract to be third choice and we won't spend £6m on Butland for him to be in the reserves.

Reina the only keeper with good sale value and that's what appears to be happening.
FSG and their master plan of cost cutting. If they keep this up we will be challanging for the championship sooner than they think. All be it not the championship we want to.

If fitness is an issue at this stage of the stage well then we are proper ****ed.

IMO not a chance is fitness an issue, simply put we just aren't playing very well.

Basics.
Exactly right, it is basic. Which also appears to be the level of your understanding. Something you need to go beyond unless you want mediocrity.

Everyone has a right to criticise, but this was just narrow minded arrogant crap.

So cost cutting is a bad thing? It's clear we were paying too many players too much money. There is always going to be a painful period of restructuring. Which is now. But you seem to be implying its a bad thing.

we were talking about marking posts at corners which is about as basic as it can get.

if you factor in how good stoke are at set pieces it would seem a given. I mean that's basic stuff.

I was angry after the stoke defeat and stand by everything I said. We can put up with bad results as long as you see progress on the pitch. But there isn't any.

We need experienced players in the squad, by all means cost cut but hit players a bit less useful then your first choice goal keeper, even if he has been poor by his own standards he's still the best we've got.

I agree with that part. But I don't see any chance of Reina going, or any mention from anyone at the club he could go either.

Well if he isn't going and Jones isn't going, why are we looking at spending 6m on a new keeper, especially when we have Gulasci too.

Starting with Jose which was Roman's first full season,Chelsea have had 7 managers under Abramovich and have won 9 trophies in that time

Arsenal have had the same manager all that time and won the FA cup once.

The bags of cash clearly make a difference but maybe old Roman is not as bonkers as many make out.

If its not working he makes a change and backs the new man.
We made a change cos it wasn't working and haven't backed the new man.

He said himself decisions are out of his hands on transfers.
Makes all the difference. We simply cant afford to hire and fire as Roman does

But we do anyway
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Because we think he's better than at least two of the ones we've got maybe. Maybe they feel pepe doesn't justify his wages and want a cheaper option and will sell pepe. No idea really, but I don't believe its just for ****s and giggles, or because we have a keeper collecting fetish.

Not sure he would be a better option, but cheaper yes. If your thoughts are right a little worrying really.

Pepe hasn't looked happy for a long time, maybe the club thinks the time is right to cash in

If we sign Butland it would be a bizarre move. From what I've seen his kicking is awful.
