Then we shall once again agree to disagree.
    Oh I don't know.

Which pretty much means it's easy to tell the difference between the two, so it follows that BR is nothing like Brent? imo.

How many different teams have won the league since we last did?

Yeah it sucks bum, but there's value in supporting us for so much more than that. I think people just need to recalibrate expectations a bit.

Definitely something special about LFC as a club though. Even with the barren spell, I'd never give up supporting us. Can't really remember much of the last league title we won but as a club we've gone through so much and we're still here.

There's always something going on too. Change of managers, buying, selling players. Looking back now, I remember staying up til past midnight every night the weeks prior to the RBS deadline passing for the sale of the club. Watching Swanson outside some building in London waiting for some potential buyer to drive past, seeing Henry coming out, then saying the deal may not happen, to it may happen etc. Then Sky going over to America when H&G got that injunction and saying the deal was off. Then the sheer joy I felt when it was all confirmed and Broughton came out with his extra-time, penalty comment in the press briefing

Supporting us has been a roller-coaster for years but I've got no doubt that we will win the title again eventually. We will do it the right way and it will be all the more special because of it

We're being told that we need to give Brendan time, I think we need to give each other time to readjust to the new level as well

One things for sure, none of us like being where we are and I don't think anyone actually enjoys being negative.

That's a good way to think about it I suppose. I have never experienced a truly successful Liverpool. I have watched Liverpool win trophies and come by relative success, but none of those really compare to the decades before I was born. Could be why I'm so optimistic. Well, somewhat optimistic. I don't have blind faith in the way things are going, definitely not.

You poor thing. I've seen us win 13 league titles, not to mention all the other trophies.

Despite the relative lack of success in recent times, being sold twice to people with no money, still being no nearer to having a new stadium and catastrophic managerial appointments in Hodgson and Dalglish, I'm still hugely optimistic about the future. If you're a fan you're in it for the long haul, not just for the times when everything's going right.

Swansea on general sale. Backlash or just a sign of the times? Probably the latter.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think for me it's getting to the point of just being totally ****ed off with football as a whole

Footballers & their exorbitant wages & the consequent ridiculous ticket prices, Sky & the whole 'tabloid' media, inbreds like The Hodge

Problem is I just can't let go of LFC - been in my blood since for over 35 years
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

                          Batman

                          F*** off!!!

If we don't get back amongst the top clubs soon enough we won't need to increase the Anfield capacity.

Looking at the increase Chelsea made in fan base since they became winners is scary.

I mean, if you got 10 kids not from Liverpool who's fathers were'nt pushing them towards supporting a certain Prem club, who do people think they'd choose?

And we have cut our noses off to spite our face by signing that FFP agreement.

Seen as though we have one of the best Academy's in Europe, players moving to performance related contracts I think it's going to help us more than hinder us.

I'm surprised Lerner voted against the salary cap. It's the norm in American sport.
