I think Spurs have improved, but will be ****ed without Bale, hope they are the ones that miss out on CL as think they will be the team that would sufer most.

I agree WHEN he leaves, but it just so happens that he has stepped it up again this season and hence Spurs have been a better side than they were last season because of it.

I think the Bale leaving will likely hurt them but it might also give them the chance to improve as a side overall with 2 or 3 really astute purchases.

Is it National Stating the Obvious Day?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I genuinely dont understand some/most of the criticism levelled at Rodgers throughout this season so far.
With 3 games to go we already have more points than last season, then factor in cutting the wage bill, then the fact that our new transfer structure wasnt in place for the summer then our first 5 games were ridiculously hard and its fair to assume we should really be on conservitively 5 or 6 points more.
I think he's had a great 1st season, all things considered.

I dunno about great but I agree with the rest of your post. He's doing well. I'd give him a C+.

I don't agree with that at all considering your use of the word 'prosaic' to describe our attacking approach was all too often heard in the previous few seasons.

True the defensive side has been a bit suspect but we've had a string of managers that have sorted the defence and then moved onto attack but for once we've got one that's started in the opposite fashion and made us happy again (despite the FA's ****wit attitude to our club).

Liked his choice of black shirt with the club suit yesterday. Looked the part.

I personally think he should have worn this under his jacket ->

Wasn't me - a search reveals I've never used the word prosaic on here.

We're gonna be 7th or 6th and no Cup runs - I'm never gonna give more than a C for that. But he's done well and I'm pretty happy with him.

I think we will see a big clear out next season and see half of the Swansea squad more players that Rodgers wants to buy coming in, which should inprove us next season.

I'm quitely optimistic about the next year for us, even without Suarez for some of it, we could really make an attack on the top four.
