He's really got into the players heads. His vision and determination is rubbing off on the players. They obviously believe in him and respect him.

I've always thought a team is a reflection of the manager (if that makes sense). Some teams are arrogant (e.g. Chelsea), some teams act like horrible cunts (e.g. Utd under Fergie). Our team looks thoughtful, respectful, humble, determined and (on times ) intelligent. It's all good - and it stems from the manager.
    Another MASSIVE game

As others have pointed out, he's figured that it plays to our strengths to do that.

So I think aspects of his philosophy have certainly changed.
Idea of winning the ball early is still there. We just aren't good enough to control the game with the ball for long periods without getting hit on the break. So, against the top teams, he's reverted to better defensive organisation over dominating the ball more. Think that will come with maturity and players who fit that style. Or he could still carry on developing that style. It's gonna be hard to integrate new players in as from now on. Our balance is good at the moment.
      Are we winning?

Brendan may well have overcome what was a fairly large hurdle today. The inferiority complex we've fell foul of all to often in recent seasons. We played really well vs City and Chelsea and got **** all to show for it. Different story today though and I wonder if the country as a whole now views us in a different light. Seriously how much would that front 4 fetch at today's lunatic prices? A decent investment in the Summer by the owners and this team could really go places.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Manure and Spurs will come calling in the summer, I tells thee.

He's only young- &'im sure he values the stability at LFC he's been given to develop his vision. He's not gonna get that at Barca or Real- so can't see him leaving us for a very long time if things continue as they are.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Not a chance he'll consider going there. Not a chance.

Spurs will probably go for Laudrup, as for United, Moyes is going to be around next year.

Hopefully we will finish above both of them and if they both sack their current managers after a short period of time I don't see why he would leave us for a situation like that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

When has any Liverpool manager ever seen United or ****ing Spurs as a better proposition than us. No chance.

Spurs will be all over De Boer in the summer.

Shown great...what's the word...flexibility in going easier on the endless possession and recognising our strengths. No team in the league can live with us when we click. 0-6 at Newcastle and other hammerings in the second half of last season, then this season Spurs 5-0, Everton 4-0, Arsenal 5-1 and countless other 4s and 5s against bottom half teams. This is unprecedented for us in the Premier League era, unseen since we were the dominant force.

And I love watching him celebrate goals
absoloutley this, i think he is on the way to being up there with our greats
