We are not in a position where we are able to attract the best and pay them the wages they want.

Development is the only option we really have.

Next season potentially could be his last. Time to step out of the shadows, buy the players you want and knuckle down at the start of the season. Not from xmas.

Chelsea, City and Arsenal have already sown up next season's top three too. So its between us and Utd again. Utd will have a new keeper coming in, a new CB (Hummels) and full backs who haven't properly played yet (Shaw, etc). They could have a slow start, we can't afford to.
