Kelly and Wisdom can cover CB if needed. We have 4 on the books at the moment as it looks like Coates isnt leaving.

So I guess its not a priority. Kolo is arguably an upgrade on Carra too.
    *Except Michael, who died.

He can't really justify buying another CB with so many on the books and not being able to sell one. I've read a few times that this LB is holding out for Madrid and not sure on Willian.

But I'm just going to enjoy the season to be honest. I think we'll play some good attacking football and will give some teams a whipping. If we don't buy anyone else, no biggy

Yeah I think Wisdom has impressed him enough at CB to think he's worth giving some game time.

I'm not having a go at anyone in particular but maybe it shows how far our expectations have fallen when we start judging our managers by how they speak and handle the media. I might be alone but the only thing I judge managers by is results.

I dont give a **** if BR comes across well on sky sports and is the best media friendly manager we've ever had. I would rather have a cunt of a manager who wins every match.

No one is judging him by how well he does in press conferences or with the media? They're praising him for handling a really tough situation really well.

            Is a big difference

Who has actually said they think winning is unimportant?

              My guess is no one.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And it's surely better than having a manager that sounds like an idiot when he talks AND gets **** results (coughhodgsoncough).

hes the typical example of a manager that can't do anything and England appointed him ffs

I was very critical of BR last season and although im fully behind him im waiting for the results on the pitch.

prophetic words sound great from a position of strength but just deluded otherwise. I like him as a person but am yet to think hes a proper LFC manager.

                    Lets see.

The second half of last season was very good with him in charge, that's what impressed me the most - the first half was a write off and no real surprise but he's worked hard at getting the players to play his way and moved on a lot of expensive dead wood as well, the being impressive in the media is a bonus.

I just think some people are kidding themselves as to where we are as a club. I don't even expect us to get 4th this coming season, even with a couple of players. Doesn't mean I accept mediocrity. I just think it will happen in a couple years, once the younger players have gained some more experience and consistency.

Funny how a load of people were praising Villa and Lambert for avoiding relegation. We had just as many young and inexperienced players playing for us, especially in the first half of the season. Yet we are ****e

So we can't praise him for not sounding like an out of his depth **** (like Moyes)?
