Yep, things are looking promising. There are definitely some good signs.
      Oh I don't know.

That's unlikely to happen. I've given up listening to his interviews. I think he is a very good manager though.

Back to Spurs - I think we will smash them if Sturridge plays. Without him, it's touch and go really. We outplayed them totally in the last game but now Spurs have settled under AVB and we seem to have settled too so it's difficult to know what to expect. I'd be very confident if Sturridge plays though.

          It could be somewhat unsettling.

Clear progress being made. Still dog**** defending set pieces and still way too shaky and vulnerable at the back against good sides who can expose our weaknesses. Obvious areas of improvement to be made and this summer will be massive. This is good though from Rodgers and I am quietly excited about next season.

I don't think we need a world class centre back next season, just a competent one.

Well done Brendan. Now go out and find us a Vertognen type defender (or two) and we're sorted.

                      Foundations well and truly laid.

One thing he really needed was a win against a top side to get that monkey of our back. Today was that signature win he really needed.

We have scored 38 goals in the last 15 games

Yeah but he still set up both their goals.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm still not judging him until the end of the season.

It's looking better again though. And as long as we avoid an implosion, we're on track to meet expectations.

We'll definitely finish above Everton now and Arsenal are definitely catchable. Chelsea just that little bit too far away to be caught IMO, but I'd be very happy with 5th. Very happy indeed!

                                Good work Brendan!
