Indeed, he's mentioned it after wins aswell for people who think he's trying to find excuses even said it after Southampton first game. It does look a bit ****ty by our pitch standards.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostNot sure what the issue is about the pitch comment.
It's true. It wasn't really used to excuse anything. Am I missing some sort of scandal here? Someone enlighten me!

Yep. I might be wrong but I think he's spoken about it before this season too.Originally posted by Chris View PostIndeed, he's mentioned it after wins aswell for people who think he's trying to find excuses even said it after Southampton first game. Small details.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostHe's just trying to alienate more staff at LFC. He's been heard bitching about the temperature of the Carlsberg bottles pre match as well.
Rodgers was at Chelsea remember when they were cleaning up under Jose first time round. In all honesty, anyone connected to this club should know that everything needs to be as perfect as it can be. And if it's not, something needs to be done about it.Forwards.......

Sounds like a game of Theme ParkOriginally posted by Daniel 7 View PostYep, all they need to do is turn up the fridges a bit and take the hit on the small increase in utility bills - which will be offset against happier punters buying more beer because its actually cold.

Anyways.....
Basel was a disaster.
United was a step in the right direction but nil points.
Bournemouth was the result you'd expect, but again it was good play.
Arsenal was further evidence that we are playing the way we need to be.
Now it's all about the results. Quite simple, performances need to be backed up with results from now on. United felt like it was as low as it would get and now we are back on an upward curve. A last minute leveller from a fantastic performance can do wonders for confidence.
I backed the change in formation even after the United result as it showed what could happen. But if it doesn't start producing results, I'm sorry to say but it's just another failed tactical switch of which there have been too many of already this season. I've got confidence we'll get them though.Forwards.......

Why has it taken him half a season to realise that? And why can't he organise our side to defend better?Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostWho the **** cares what that inbred cunt says?
Its obvious Rodgers has realised its better to attack than defend with the current players to pick from. We were conceding and doing sod all in attack,so now we have progressed to conceding and creating lots. Next step, keep conceding but put the ball in the net. Winning trophies? Semi finals of the league cup is a decent position to be in. You need lots of money to consistently challenge for titles, that isn't us and won't be for the foreseeable. Arsenal never challenge for top honours. Basically stop always looking on the miserable side of life.
