can you imagine what would happen if we lost our opening game of the season and the next 2.

However for me its as simple as whether he has lost the dressing room, if he has then there is no way back, but if the majority still buy into him and let's face it, the majority will be staying, then he should be backed fully in the summer. Get some goalscorers in and let's start soaring.
That's the crux of it for me as well. It's all about whether the people he's going to work with next season are 100% behind him or not that should be the grounds for the decision. Not us fickle supporters attitude, as seen through the season it changes A LOT!

Weve been colossally ****e this season and much of that is down to the manager
Aye. Very, very depressing if true.

Is he a bit of a yes man? I suspect he is. Someone that makes life easy for them.
I think the way that Rodgers handled his first press conference, the turning down of FSG's initial advances and how he talked FSG out of having a Director of Football would show that Rodgers has his own voice.

It's all still very much up in the air until they've had this season review, but I think FSG will look at mitigating factors and look at the whole situation dispassionately rather than react to the way the season ended.

I also feel quite confident that FSG will consult others than just Rodgers about the season and next, i.e. talk to the captain (maybe vice-captain in our case) and get a feel about the player group and their relationship with the manager etc.

If he's still in charge in 2-3 weeks then I will believe it, until then, I'm not convinced by anything I hear or read. All this info is coming from briefings, if a potential replacement is unavailable until after the weekend what else are you going to say when continually asked the question?

To me the silence and lack of actual statements or press releases coming from the club is deafening. I think Rodgers position is close to untenable, and that this has in fact only really happened over the last 2-3 months.

So for now, 'Business as usual' has to be the party line.

Well the players have no right to have a say given the hurricane of turd they've served up the majority of the season.

If BR stays it confirms exactly how poor the judgement of FSG on footballing matters is. Absolute madness to stick with the guy, no one even wants to play for him anymore it seems. If he really cares about LFC he should resign.

Klopp is waiting for the Bayern job after Pepe goes to City.

Do we know when this end-of-season review is happening? I've seen mentions of June, but nothing more accurate than that.

The problem is if we sack him who do we get now Klopp is on a break and Rafa is going to Real?

I'm just not sure I trust Rodgers, this is the man that persisted with Johnson and Lovren in a back 4 with Gerrard sat on top of them for about 4 months! He even played Lucas advanced during that time it was just utterly ridiculous.

If he has 80% of the fans against him his position will be untenable like Lecter says. He can't do his job under these circumstances, although I think he couldn't do it either way so I'm not impartial. Keeping him on is a brave decision and if it turns to **** there will be a lot of "I told you so's" and talking of the benefit of hindsight will be forbidden.
                              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

There's enough 'I told you so' now, regardless of whether Brendan goes or not.
