They are ****. They are lucky to be where they are thanks to some late goals and favourable penatly decisions. Any time they have played anybody decent they have been destroyed. We'll hammer them.

Btw, I never said our side was better without him like many, but I did say after the Villa game that him at DM doesn't work. I know we've changed our set up to suit him a little better, but seriously, the guy is simply a class act. I'm glad Rodgers had the courage to press ahead with it. That decision could well have won us the title.Forwards.......

It seems like Rodgers has managed to do something with him that SG has been accused of being incapable of his whole career. I know it's not a classic CM role but it's pretty close. Actually maybe it is a classic CM role - defend, win the ball, move the play, advance to move it again (although we advance at such speed, it's not needed).
Rafa deployed him differently - and against Gerrard's judgement of himself - in a more advanced role to get the best out of him. BR has come in and seemingly done something that definitely appeals to both SG's view of himself and also his passing skills, while also recognising that he can't keep bursting forward relentlessly.
He's psychologically disciplined him while making it seem like he's giving SG what he wants

TBF you could place Stevie in the kitchen washing up and he'd be happy if he thought it would help with our title challenge atm.Originally posted by badpiggy View PostHe's psychologically disciplined him while making it seem like he's giving SG what he wants
Can't remember the last time he was so fired up.

I look forward to him having a storming rest of the season from DM and making me look a right tit.
Oh wait
