That's probably all it would take to sack Roy. Rafa to attend a home game and Kop to give him standing ovations.

      Come back Rafa!!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Now that would be mint... Whilst I appreciate the Rafa days are best left behind us, it's tempting to see him as a replacement to Roy - that's a no brainer. However, to really take the squad and the youth players to the Prem title, it may take something other than knee-deep analysis, zonal marking and public in-house fighting...

Gotta love the big man though... total legend.

If I remember each time he had some success he had a rant. 2005, 2008 and now 2010.

For sure the guy has not been helped by some injureis but at the end of the day he was off the pace in an Italian league that is not that great. Napoli are above them I think.

I have a horrible feeling though that based on his scientific approach however that he may just be coming back to Liverpool and that he engineered his own Inter exit.
How can you be onto a loser at the treble winners though?

Can't help feeling he's a bit addicted to the whole politics thing. He did it at Valencia, here and now Inter. Can argue that here was justified but it seems he does it wherever he is. That's not something that really serves him in truth in my view.

I think he saw the writing on the wall at Inter, although not sure he's not damaged his rep a bit with his outburst cos it is easy to see your argument after 3 clubs. Cant really comment fully about Valencia despite reading that Paco Llorette book about his time there (cos I can't remember), but it was about footballing ambitions from his side.

I really cannot blame him one bit for his conduct with G&H. Maybe he couldve kept quieter, but he's a proud man whose ambitions for the club were in direct opposition to G&H's bleeding of it.

Also, I'd suggest that Maureen is similarly political.
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Didn't rafa admit that he made mistakes in his last year in charge? I believe he would turn us into champions, after all he is one of us. We all want the same thing and now with the right ownership, he can make it happen. Bring him home Mr henry, do the right thing.

It will surely be interesting to see how Inter will fare now after Rafa leaves them, Leonardo will not be an improvement IMO, and they are still some players short as well.

I'm not sure I want him back.
                  Oh I don't know.

I don't want him back right now but I would love it if he walked out and stood in the Kop for the next home game

Next episode in the Mourinho arogance is his statement today, that he is disappointed he didn't recieve a thank you from Rafa for the WCC trophy because he left him such a fantastic squad that lives to win trophies.

worries me that he might come back. As much as I love the guy I think we need to move on.

Think how this is going to get played out - he took over arguably the best squad in europe (treble winners no less) and they've failed to compete in their own domestic league.

Ok here my view on it. if not been happy with rafa in his last year in charge at liverpool, he made mistakes with his tactics, but worst of all he didn't have the courage/imagination/what ever to chage or alter his **** tactics.

However he was always(every manager would have) going to struggle at inter after the season they had. Mind you that is not the best squad in europe when it comes down to it. they had defensive tactiscs all through out last season, and it's hard to change the mindset of the squad in such a short time, and the injury problems they've had didn't help at all.

Plus morratti has always been known to throw huge amounts of money at his managers disposal so why didn't he do the same for Rafa is beyond me.

it's tempting so think rafa could be back, but i'm not sure that'd be the best idea. however how many other top managers are there avaliable, and there's always the risk of them not adapting to the PL.
