Plus morratti has always been known to throw huge amounts of money at his managers disposal so why didn't he do the same for Rafa is beyond me.
Marcotti said the other night that Benitez wasn't Moratti's first choice and he only got him because he needed a big name to placate the Ultras.
I'm not sure how credible all that is since he's sacked him despite the fans supporting Rafa but it would explain why he didn't give him any money to spend.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I wonder how the ultras will react if/when Moratti appoints Milan legend Learnardo.

Or indeed, Milan legend Capello
New FA Chairman appointed today and if the FA can somehow muster the cash, you'd think they'd be looking to sack Capello. Of course though, this Inter situation may just save them a lot of cash. If i were at the FA, i'd very much be looking for Inter to come along and make the whole thing easier for them, by taking Capello and paying a nice wad of compensation into the bargain. Win-win for the FA.
Yes, i'm sure after all the issues he had with a lack of financial backing at LFC and Internazionale, the one carrot he'd never be able to resist, is that of a £5m transfer budget to turn Blackburn into a top-four club
