Couldn't believe it when I found out. Ridiculous.Originally posted by Zapater View PostDoes anyone else think it's amusing that Diego Cavalieri has switched our bench for Cessena's bench? 40 year old Francesco Antonioli seems to be the undisputed first choice. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Double standards by Henry Winter, thought I'd post this in here as it's related to Rafa.

Dependent Devotion
It takes a lot for something at Stoke to warm Mediawatch's heart, but Tony Pulis donning the trackie and cap despite the death of his mother did it on Monday night.
Henry Winter's cockles were warmed too, writing on his Twitter feed: 'Huge cheer as Pulis walks out for 2nd half. Incredible devotion to Stoke on day his mother passed away. Salutes fans.'
And he continues in his match report for The Daily Telegraph, calling it an 'extraordinary, emotional night' and repeating his praise of Pulis's 'dedication' to the club.
All very lovely.
However, it seems that Winter's praise in such matters is limited, depending on who he's discussing.
Here's an extract from an article on Rafa Benitez, written in October last year:
'Does it matter that this footballing obsessive seems to show no interest in his players as human beings? After all, this is the manager who stayed on for the 2005 Club World Championship in Tokyo despite learning that his father had passed away back in Spain.'
So does returning to/staying at work under such circumstances show 'incredible devotion' or evidence that a man is unfeeling, and has 'no interest in his players as human beings'?
Are we winning?
