It's not so far-fetched to think that the owners didnt particularly need him coming out and saying that torres would've allegedly fetched a whole £20m more just last year.

Obviously the sunday paper will have put it's own more dramatic spin on it though.

It's going to be interesting to see what Rafa does next. I don't think his stock is very high generally so it could be a long process for him to get to the top again. Shame, but I wonder if he'll disappear to a smaller club somewhere in Europe for a few years.

Id love to see him back as an ambassador like Kenny was. Its a totally different set up now. Maybe in a few years though. When most of his squad have moved on.
        *Except Michael, who died.

think most of the spanish clubs would still take a punt on him and I do think most of the clubs in the premiership would take him to, although not sure he would be that interested to be honest.

I wish Rafa came in as Kennys assistant, with a view to taking over from him Boot Room style.

He's not leaving to go abroad. And i doubt he'll look too far from Liverpool for his next job.

That's a fair point, who is there? Replace his mate at Wigan? Work for eggs at Blackburn. The manc clubs won't want him. Everton fans hate him. Bolton maybe?

lets not forget his role as Kenny's advisor to, not sure many clubs would be happy when they realise that he is still pulling all the strings at anfield.

Not too sure about that with City....................if for whatever reason, they couldn't land Jose.
Rafa would still be seen as a step-up from Mancini IMO, especially in Euro experience and with mad money behind him, might be able to reach his goals over time.

Whether he would see himself there is a question only he can answer 100%

He should be the next England manager like i said before. Once he helps England win the World cup he can come back and replace the retiring Kenny who has won us everything before he retires
