Going back to Rafa. The interview didn't bring anything that we didn't know already. He still loves the club, the city and there's no question that he isn't Liverpool through and through now. I think he'll be back, he seems to have that driving ambition to put things right and show the doubters what he's really made of, but he'll be careful with his choice of clubs. I only hope he won't be a scourge for us, if he chooses a big club. Are we winning?

"Ironical"

But yeah, Keown, like most pundits, hasn't got anything but a very superficial grasp of what has really gone at Liverpool.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

What club is he after? He's clearly on a charm offensive and keen to keep his profile high. So what job does he want?Originally posted by NigelLG View PostGoing back to Rafa. Man City? If not, then what?.

Dunno, I'd have thought Dan Walker would put that kind of question to him, but no.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostWhat club is he after? He's clearly on a charm offensive and keen to keep his profile high. So what job does he want?

You're an old cynic Neil, romanticism goes out of the window for you.Are we winning?

Ironic will always suffice.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If you're going to be pedantic, it helps to be right.
Or, as Keown might say, pedantical..

I'm sure it used to be far more common than it is now. It's gone out of fashion. Like racialism.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI used to say ironical when I was about 8. Then I realised it was ridiculousical.
I mean the word racialism, not the Weltanschauung. That's still alive and well and informing speeches made in Germany.
Btw I think you mean 'ridiculousistical'.

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
