What the ****? He was asked "would you like to manage the club again?" and he said yes. What the **** is wrong with that?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Well he was asked, what did you expect him to say?

"I am not the manager now. Kenny Dalgish is and he is doing a fantastic job."

I can't understand how many people have it in for him or see him as a massive failure. This window has seen us spend more net then the last two years under Rafa, it wasn't his fault he didn't get any money. I am pleased Kenny is back but I am also pleased Rafa wants back, if every player cared as much for the club as he does we'd be laughing.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

TBF didn't he say something along those lines?

              Sort of, here it is:

But Benitez said: "To be manager of Liverpool is a dream for me. This time, I know that Kenny is doing really well.

"I have to wait and keep watching games, but if you say to me in the future would you like to be manager, for sure, no doubt about this. When, that is the question. I have to move forward, anyway."

I did not say either of those things!

Oh, and net spend this window was about 2 million.

Move on Rafa, get another club because you had your shot at LFC. Good luck big man, but It's over for you here.

                  Onwards and upwards.
I disagree entirely that he sounds in any way desperate - he simply answered a legit question and was honest about it.

He managed the club during some pretty horrible times and didn't do too badly. He's even admitted he made some mistakes.

I really hope he does get another shot - in due course.

Yes I know, that's my point.

Anyway, at least he recognises that he needs to move on.

Think he should go back to Spain myself. Can't do him mentally much good hanging around Liverpool.

Absolutely love Rafa as a person and have the utmost respect for him, but I hope it will be a long while yet before he gets another chance here (loving the atmosphere Kenny is bringing back at Liverpool, and most importantly I am loving the football we are trying to play). Cannot see Kenny bringing him in under any other capacity at the club and Rafa is young enough to continue his career elesewhere.
