Rafael Benitez admits "it would be a dream" to manage Liverpool again in the future.

The Spaniard only left Anfield last summer and while his successor Roy Hodgson lasted barely half a season, he himself was similarly unsuccessful at Inter Milan.

Benitez admits Kenny Dalglish is currently doing an impressive job in his role as caretaker boss until the end of the season, but concedes he would jump at the chance to resume his love affair with the Kop.

"I am really proud of being the manager of Liverpool Football Club and I would like to come back in the future," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

"You never know (when) because Kenny is doing a really good job. It's a question of time. You never know in the future.

"It would be a dream. I would be really pleased to come back in the future."

Benitez revealed he would consider other offers in England but would never contemplate managing Liverpool's rivals Everton and Manchester United.

"Fans in Liverpool know the teams I would not go (to) but I think these clubs wouldn't offer me a job.

"I'm a professional but obviously some clubs I would not go to, especially the big rivals of Liverpool. I won't say the names, but it's not difficult!"

Rafa, we know you love Liverpool and are desperate to come back. Part of me wants you back desperately as well.

However, Kenny is here, doing superb and you should show him some respect and not talk about wanting the job whilst he is in it. He never did, and we now know how desperately he wanted it. It is the Liverpool Way Rafa.

        He showed very much respect.

Hopefully he's been paying attention to the reaction to FT going there

I don't think he needed to pay attention to anything. He's been here 6 years.

Interview with Rafa Benitez in Wednesday's AS won't make pleasant reading for Inter or Marco Branca http://bit.ly/dPZHDs

My next club will ask respect for work and a project

CHAPTER 1. Children 10 years of St. Bridget's School in West Kirby have to coach a champion of the world. So goes part of the quiet life of Benitez after leaving Inter in December after 13 years non-stop train. These are his reflections.

The picture that has never been done: Rafa has it all

              Rafael Benitez Maudes R. Benitez
              CHARACTER - A FUND
              Birth: 16/04/1960
              Location: Spain

What does a day in her life now that training?

The girls have to go to school and that will mark a time and then go with because I get to work. You will also walk with women, dogs do things without as much stiffness, pick up girls, you help them with homework though as they have now changed the way of reckoning, is more complicated and you should learn first.

Do you see a lot of football?

It's different, I would work a lot but seeing rivals that affect you. Now I see any game and see them otherwise. When you are engaged you see them looking and now enjoy a little more.

              At least sleep more ...

I'm trying, but you always have a night tour of your daughters who are starting to annoy but I try to sleep more and enjoy family.

What do you consider your own work?

I'm analyzing the game, take notes of players, get into the database, contact your assistants have to gather data, analyze what you did right and wrong, work orders things to be more prepared. When you see teams analyze tactics without obsession and what players you think would fit on that team, you analyze its structure, operation ...

Are you eager to return to the front line?

This slowdown is good because I could not do things like enjoying the family. It also works because you have time to analyze and grow because it allows you to make fewer mistakes and you will succeed more, but of course you're willing to retrain.

Do your daughters and his wife are happy to have him at home or want to coach anymore?

Like most women, when you're here, at the beginning are fine, but when you take a long time and are willing to come out so they can be more calm and relaxed and they control your life your way.

Had 13 years without stopping, as he said Quique, have you lost a job but earned a living?

Rather than looking forward to earn a living another life, another way to enjoy life when you're in competition not perceive. Being well is not something you like, but it is a great pleasure for me and my family to be together. The other day we went together to the cinema, where he had so much time away.

In Spain surprised he has returned to live here.

Because people do not really know what this is. It is a very quiet, is very comfortable and treat you with the utmost respect for you and your family. The weather is not as bad as you think and here is fine. Liverpool have found my place in the world, mine and my family, six years give much room to meet people and appreciate you. When we went to Italy for my daughters adaptation was not as easy and came back here, took a minute to call friends and be with them.

Are you going to determine the desire to live in Liverpool when deciding their next club?

Yes, I've made it clear that my priority is the Premier, by the kind of football, running, the respect needed to work every coach works the way and above all we are organized, professional, methodical, we have a project a work plan that best fits the dynamic Premier. Here's more time to do things. I learned in England to be manager to manage budgets, a template that you have to sell and buy it in England is understood and appreciated more. In the Latino culture is going week to week and that's not good here said that six months was too early to see results and that is unthinkable in the Latino culture.

Back to Liverpool. So great is his identification with this community?

My wife is the president of a Charity (NGO) which is a hospital for older people and we are raising funds to finish. We work with a partnership to prevent and advise women with breast cancer, we also collaborate with other hospital making room for women who have lost the baby and help them psychologically we are also with families of Hillsborough search campaign truth donate a special bus for a school for disabled children we work so we can because it is a way to return the love that shows us the people. Collaborate in arranging girls' school yard, fences improve what we can see every day because there are many people who talk about helping NGOs in other continents and there not really control what happens and here it can do.

              It is your dark side

Many people here are aware, was not, because you only train and see you are serious and cool even when your computer brand and are made to the idea that you are always well, but even if it is analytical and cerebral, I have feelings and involvement with this community.

He has not come to Anfield

Not been given the time because when I arrived, out of respect for Hodgson, it was better not to go. With the arrival of Dalglish maintain good relationship, I've been in the Sports City and well, but to go to the stadium to wait.

What requirements will ask you to your next club?

When I went to Italy I knew it was no coach and manager, but even if you only coach must have good understanding with your team manager is not so much a matter of scale, but of people. If you ask me which model is better, no doubt because in the end the manager coaches usually pay for their mistakes and team managers, however, the manager pays only his mistakes, because he chooses it, and that is fairer.

So what is going to require you to be a manager?

I will not require that to my next club, which ask is respect for the work, project, knowing what the goals and stay. My experience tells me that when firms in a club's goals are about three months but when they change. If things go well and you want more, if they are wrong, you say you have all the means and do not get it. You trust a people but to clarify everything from scratch so it does not change the goals and transmit them to the fans, who know the reality of the club.

If you want to stay in England, your pool is reduced almost to City and Chelsea ...

One hopes to go to teams that have enhanced capacity, strong and compete for titles, but I'm always open to a project. Satisfaction is higher when you have less resources and get more things as happened in Liverpool. Satisfaction is higher than when you give everything and win, yes, but of course you have given everything. I remember when I was in the Extremadura was the stage of Van Gaal at Barcelona and I have a very good opinion of him, but people talked about having clear titles, is that these teams can win because they aspire to and you're on another level and teams do not fight for it. You can be a great coach without winning titles, for example, in Spain Luis García quote or Unai Emery, who are coaches who are good but they are teams that maybe now they have a chance to win titles, but yet they are doing a great job and this should be viewed. As a coach coming from below, I appreciate and respect very much that.

Are you willing to go to a mid-table club if given a lengthy project that excites you?

Much depends on the line you have with people who are in the club, with the owner, the owner, president, the executive director if you see that there is potential to build something and lay the groundwork for a serious project that I am not closed to . We all like to win titles but fortunately I've already won some with my people, so I can think of two options, go to a club to fight and to win titles and also to create something else.

If Newcastle had a better owner then I could see him join them. They really need a manager like him to build up the club.

I believe that it will be City or Chelsea. Would be scary to see him at City with all the quality players and the money available to strengthen the team even more. He would need more time at Chelsea because they have an older team and need to replace some of the key players very soon.

No, the board sold him, managers in most leagues do not control the transfers of players.

not against rafa coming back to us in the future ( way in the future ) after he has served a bit more tim in england realsing that the league is the priority and getting a chance to hone his tactics to suit english football.

as it stands, only one man can be lfc manager right now . . . . .the king! the sooner he gets the job full time the better.

once he has settled a winning team, won us our league back, got attacking passing football etched forever into the brains of our players and served at least another 5 years as manager - then i'll accept rafa back but only then. right here and right now is the wrong time for him and he seems to know it too which is good.

I saw that on a football gossip round up yesterday, I think it originally came from the S*n.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I definately think he is waiting for the City job!! I think its only a matter of time that Mancini gets the boot becase lets face it, he isn't the greatest of managers, doesnt know the english game, and doesnt have the control of the dressing room yet insists on bringing troublesome over rated players to the club! I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa has already been told he is next in line! It would be close to his home and he would have plenty of money to waste! his dream job!
