Of course. I don't support them. Never will. I can't stand them either. But the world is not black and white and simple is it? We don't live in pigeon holes.
    Oh I don't know.

This. And I don't even care about Rafa and Torres to be completely honest.

I won't be happy for Torres all the while he's at Chelsea. Like I've said before, it's because of my location and exposure to Chelsea fans, an exposure that perhaps a Northern fan would liken to their hatred towards United. Had Torres signed for United there would've been open warfare on him which, unlike the situation we find ourselves in, I would've understood

And quite right too - they are our most hated rivals, always have been, always will be. Chelsea aren't.

But just because they are our 'most hated rivals', does that stop us hating anyone else ?

                I don't think it does.

It's like saying a true Red only hates utd, if you hate Chelsea you're a bit weird.

That's up to individuals, but if you got the Rothman's Football Yearbook and landed on the LFC page, under 'rivals' it would say "Manchester United, Everton". It wouldn't say Chelsea. Anyway we've been over this loads of times. People hate them - fine. I can't stand them either.

There is little doubt in my mind that Chelsea supporters are collectively pretty much the most despicable around. I'm glad I'm not in the thick of it anymore.

I will never get it. Each to there own and all that but FFS these warm feelings should be saved until those two are at other foreign clubs not these plastic cunts who have hated and mocked them (and us) for the last decade.

I agree but spend an hour or so with some of the Chelsea fans down here, horrible ****ers - 23rd anniversary of Hillsborugh they were chanting murderers which is nothing new for them but even then that's a new low.

No I get that - must be worse for southern-based fans. A lot worse. Chelsea fans are among the absolute worst - no doubt. But every club has one or two 'deadly rivals', and despite everything they are not ours.

I think that's my point here, people seemed surprised Norbs didn't want Torres to do well at Chelsea, while he was surprised Dom would be happy for him on a personal level, i can totally understand both sides, and neither is right or wrong.

No, that's not surprising. I get it. It's the total lack of understanding on the other side - he said he finds it "really weird" that some people aren't frothing with rage about Torres. There's nothing weird about it at all.

Ah, i didn't realise he'd implied everyone should be frothing with rage, i just think he used the wrong word in 'weird'.

How are we all with MO, he's as famous a Red as Torres, but signed for our most hated rivals ?
