Not having this not competing stuff either, it's unlikely we'll finish above them of course but they are capable of imploding at anytime and it could get poisonous there very quickly. Lets give it a go rather than becoming Chelsea supporters.

Shocking that LFC supporters actually want Chelsea to do well.

    It is Chelsea FFS!!!!

Essentially (in my experience) everyone wanted Kenny to do well. The difference is this time (with Rafa) people have inserted their own conditions to suit - and often enforcing their own invented conditions on others.

It doesn't upset me that the are Reds who don't want him to do well. I couldn't care less what other people think. Each to their own and Merry Christmas

Yep. Fine v Everton or Utd, they're bigger rivals so the lesser of two evils yeah cool or if it's a last day title race between them and Utd like a few seasons back. But cheering them on through November, December and that because Rafa Benitez is there? Madness.

This is a group of lowlifes that ruined a minutes silence for Hillsborough and spent the recent West Ham game singing about Heysel. I can appreciate what he did here without becoming a Chelsea cheerleader.

It doesn't matter - all that matters is it's not us. The rest is making up degrees of emnity to suit, over a team who are no more our rivals now than Blackburn were in the mid 90s. In fact you could very reasonably argue that Blackburn were much more our rivals than Chelsea are now, who are not in our league. Anyone who believes we can compete with them currently is deluded. We've gone round in circles about this, I don't see the big deal or why on earth it bothers other people so much. I don't like any football club other than my own, and I hate Manchester United way more than all the rest. It's that simple. Good luck Rafa, come on Liverpool and Merry Christmas.

Accidentally listened to 606 last night (always an error), there was a line of LFC fans phoning up to tell Chelsea fans they don't realise how great Rafa is. Which is sort of true, but seriously it was kinda embarrassing too. He's got Torres back to his best apparently and they should shut up about Di Matteo because he never got them to win 8-0 (yes, someone said exactly that). It made me cringe, really.

Shaggy - I think the thing with Dalglish was a little different myself. What with the way he left after Hillsborough, us having no rivalry or animosity with Blackburn etc... and anyway, I only remember LFC fans particularly being happy about them on that last day when we beat them 3-0 but Utd drew and ****ed the league up. Other than that I certainly never looked out for Blackburn or anything else. Maybe others did.

Now all my lies are proved untrue

Who is cheerleading here? You tend to have a divisive view on things - you see things as black and white. It's the same sentiment you have about Torres.
                    Are we winning?

I definitely did and others I know did.

And we were - naturally - absolutely made up when he won the league and in doing so stopped United from winning it. A similar scenario would be nice. I wouldn't be dancing around celebrating obviously, but I would love to see Benitez **** that Ferguson cunt up. Anyway I'm saying nothing more about it - I don't get the song and dance either way. I'm happy for people to think and feel whatever the hell they like.

                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.
