And why can't people tell when I'm taking the p*ss?

      It's like being married again.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

However, Benitez says that he believes that it is just a "matter of time" before he turns the fans around and refused to comment on suggestions he could replace Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid in the summer.

He told Spanish Radio station Onda Cero: "When I accepted Chelsea's offer I did so because I believe that it's a good alternative.

"My future? I know things, but I am not going to say anything about Real Madrid, because I believe that I should not. We are talking about two very high-level teams.

"I have a challenge that is trying to win and do good things, it's a matter of time in convincing many people.

"If we are successful it will be easier to convince them. I'm very calm."

The 52-year-old Spaniard continued to be the subject of negative chants from Chelsea supporters at Elland Road during Wednesday night's 5-1 win over Leeds in the Capital One Cup.

Benitez admitted: "Sometimes I don't understand the songs against me.

"I am concentrating on the game and I don't know what happens in the stands, but I have never said I would never manage a team like Chelsea."Sky

Benítez in hunt for Negredo and Suárez pair

                http://www.marca.com/2012/12/20/en/f...355997088.html

Chelsea manager Rafa Benítez is looking to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.
After his side's surprise defeat in the final of the Club World Cup against Brazilian outfit Corinthians, the Spanish coach wants to splash out for Atlético de Madrid midfielder Mario Suárez, along with Sevilla striker Álvaro Negredo and Liverpool's Uruguayan forward, Luis Suárez
                Really?

                  No, not really
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                  Mine angry and defrauded young?

Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez says Fernando Torres is fully behind the club's bid to bring in a new striker during the January transfer window and is ready to "fight for his position".

Torres spent the first 18 months at Stamford Bridge playing second fiddle to Didier Drogba and has admitted he wouldn't want to go through that again, but he is beginning to recapture his form under his former Liverpool manager.

"He knows that we need this competition, we know that we need this competition," Benitez said.

"The problem in January always is, 'Which one?'. Which player is available, which player is good enough to be here in a top side?

"So, it's not easy, but I think it will be positive for everyone.

"And Fernando is ready to fight for his position. He has no problem because he has a lot of confidence and he is enjoying now his football."

Benitez doesn't believe Chelsea's early exit from the Champions League would put off top strikers joining the club, with Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao among the targets being mentioned.

"What I know for sure is that the club will try to do the best for the team," the Spaniard said.

"The Champions League is a massive competition but still you have a lot of competitions to play for.

"Good players, the top-class players, they are looking for a good club, not just for one year, for the rest of the seasons of their contract."

With every passing day I'm missing Rafa less, not because of anything to do with LFC but because he's at Chelsea. That's a good thing all round really.

Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez believes that English football may be making too many demands on its players over the festive period. "Why do you need to play four games in 10 days? You could play two games and the families can attend the games with the children and they will enjoy it," he said.
