BR is doing better than i thought. But i can't help but wonder what RB would be like with FSG.

No disrespect to Brendan but I don't think we'd be seeing capitulations like Monday under Rafa??

Aye maybe, but then you might say we'd not have been scoring the bucket loads of goals that we have if Rafa was manager (and that comes from one of this biggest fans).

To be fair there were a few baffling results under Rafa during the 08/09 season, so would imagine we would have seen the same happen if he had been gaffer this season.

Might just be a case of the difference being that a Rodger's team get caught out when trying to add goals whereas a Rafa team gets caught on the flat foot due to putting too much focus first on trying to avoid conceding.

Either way both men can have it said about them that they led Liverpool FC to two of more hope inspiring league seasons in recent memory between the 08/09 season and this season.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Was it Brendan's fault we let in 3 or the players who totally lost the plot?

probably not, then theres countless times this season where he wouldnt have matched Brendan so it doesnt really matter

Interesting article (I needed google translate) : http://www.calcionapoli24.it/esclusi...o-n168263.html

basically...that Rafa and De Laurentiis had already come to a verbal agreement in London when PSG [through Leonardo] called him up and wanted to know if there was still room to enter into discussions. His word was his bond, and a week later Blanc and Cavani were made official).
                We going to win #19th!!

My previous comment was definitely not meant as a dig at Brendan, in response to Sarb I think Brendan could have brought Agger on to shore things up but overall it has been a fantastic season, I just think going forward if we could successfully combine Rafa's and Brendan's playing styles, we could on to a winner???

No not particularly. We should never have let a 3 nil lead slip against Palace. Isnt down to subs or tactics. Its game management . The players were stupid just going for more goals

Its what really annoys me about the Rafa debate. Your post came across as a dig at Brendan. There are a load of people who do it after a bad result.

Not going to get into the debate because it just gets silly

I have a son with special needs who visits the Wirral Play Council in Birkenhead. Montse and her daughter were volunteering there this week. Really lovely people.

Really nice to hear mate. I hope Rafa can move on as we have - always love that man.

I guess having his family still living in Liverpool makes it harder. There aren't that many clubs in the area he can manage.

He was talking about his daughters going to Uni in the UK on TS this morning. Doesn't sound like he's thinking of moving any time soon.
