Cristiano Ronaldo was livid when Rafa Benítez, during today’s training session, ruled out one of his goals in a mini match. The Portuguese striker, spotted by Spanish TV channel Cuatro’s cameras, lashed out at Rafa shouting “Vai caralho!”, a less than complimentary Portuguese way of saying he wasn’t in agreement. He continued to complain about the decision to Arbeloa and was seen snapping: “He gives everything against the Portuguese”. He then repeated the phrase. Benítez for his part didn’t seem bothered, and was seen smiling.

Cristiano’s annoyance with his new coach continued when Benítez had the players play a game where they had to try and hit the cross bar. Cristiano, on the touchline, reacted furiously: “It’s meant to be the ball in there, in the net. Not this ****e”.

The Benítez – Cristiano relationship has been under the spotlight since the coach, in the press conference before the match against Roma, said: “Cristiano? Picking the best in the world is tough”.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            Rafa

Really hope it works out well for him.

That terrible competitive attitude is ironically what makes Ronaldo such a winner. Still an absolute tosser though.

It's like he's deliberately trying to show Ronaldo up for the tosser that he is. Not that anyone needs confirmation.

                Go'on Montse

Benitez has succeeded Mourinho, with whom he shared a particularly bitter rivalry while manager of Liverpool, as manager at three clubs after his summer appointment at Real Madrid.

Mourinho left Inter Milan after winning the treble with the Italians in the 2009-10 season, with Benitez lasting just six months as his immediate replacement.

Benitez was also one of seven Chelsea managers in the six-year period after Mourinho's first spell at Stamford Bridge, and has now jumped into the Real Madrid hot seat just two years after the Portuguese left the Santiago Bernabeu.

Speaking to Spanish outlet La Region, Benitez's wife, Montserrat Seara, says the former Napoli boss has had to "tidy up" what Mourinho has left behind at each of those clubs.

"We tidy up his messes," she said. "If you think about it, of course you end up crossing paths. There are only a few world-class clubs out there."

Montserrat Seara added the 55-year-old, who began his managerial career in 1993, is not close to considering retirement.

"I don't know if he'll ever retire," she added. "All being well, he has 20 years of football left."

Things are no different for Rafa Benítez. The lady in question is his wife, Monserrat Seara, a law professor from Ourense (Galicia). In an interview with newspaper 'La Región', she spilled the beans on what it has been like to be married to the new Real Madrid boss for over 20 years.

He only thinks about football: "On our first date, Rafa explained to me what a 4-4-2 was. He finds it hard to stay away from the game. The year we spent at home he helped coach the local school team. It was hilarious. He stood on the sidelines and shouted at them as if they were first division players, waving his hands about. He doesn't see football as work, it's his passion".

See the classy Maureen has fired back with a rant, about among other things... Rafa's weight.

                        Original eh.

So typical of the vile **** bag he is.

                        Cunt!

Of course the Media scum today have Wenger 'reacting' to Maureen because Maureen is the master of such things and he has Wengers number don't ya know, but Maureen isn't 'reacting' to Montse, oh no, nor is it a rant.

Just how far up his arse are these people!

Maureen took it a little too far. Why get personal? Then again I'm not*surprised given he once called Wenger a voyeur.

It's what gets me with people saying how great his mind games are, he very often makes crass personal attacks on people, often drawn into making such remarks by something said; by someone, which imo is not masterful, not at all, he's just as reactionary as any manager, probably more, yet he's held up as being the one who plays the expert mind games.

Exactly. It's not mind games, it's not "genius", it's called being a cunt.
