The sweetener to get him to sign a new contract. oh & he deserves it

I wouldnt sell Henderson. I think he is decent enough all round. But he isnt el capitan material.

Can't see him signing now as he is free to negotiate with other clubs in a couple of months

Klopp still hopes a compromise can be reached.

Not sure what is going on with this but I really think it's a bad move letting him go.

He's progressing quite well I feel and he's only going to get better.

                Hope he ends up staying.

I reckon he's a goner. He'd have signed by now, surely.

Klopp has said time and again it's not about money - so imo it can only be one of two things. Either, like I've said before, he hasn't settled off the pitch / is unhappy living here, or it's about assurances re his status in the squad. I find the latter difficult to envisage tbh. If he's unhappy in this country then there's nothing we can do.

Good job we've got Keita coming in, but it'll still be a big blow if he goes.

Fair point, though I still don't think it is in this instance.

We'd have to seriously look at Leon Goretzka.

He is obviously gone, he has never really nailed down his place here and even though he shows glimpses of brilliance he also has a lot of lazy play in his game. There is a good chance he will turn into a beast of a player somewhere else but it is obviously not going to happen at Liverpool which is a real shame because he obviously has real big player potential
