if he had of continued to receive the manlove for his thick black hair and been the poster boy for nivea instead of lallana then hed have stayed.

in italy with his slick look he'll be worshiped like a god.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Exactly what I was trying to say, he isn't quick or agile enough.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lol @ these dickheads. Three minutes (!) after 'BREAKING' that he'd agreed to sign for Juve. Making it up as they go along.

Well it's working, it's getting spread on the internet and likely getting clicks. You should ask for commission Shaggy!

              @theweatherman

yeah although different levels in ability and potential it's what I felt with jonjo shelvey, always just looked a yard off

I'm a big believer that you need at least two good options per position to compete at the top. So by that I always look at he second choices to determine the strength of the overall squad.

If aimed for our second choice midfield three to be
              Henderson
              Wijnaldum
              Lallana/oxlade

It would be for the starting three we want/need
              New CDM to replace Can
              Keita
Coutinho or quality replacement or lallana/ox

And then an experienced Milner as a bit of a utility player to have in the squad

That's where we need to be looking to get to move us forward

              New dm
              Keita
              Coutinho replacement
              Henderson
              Lallana
              Oxlade
              Milne
              Wijnaldum
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He's clearly going and I can't say I'm that arsed. Naby will revolutionise our midfield, and he's going to be a God here.

Yeah, we got the replacement already and likely a more versatile version so that's fine. Would have been nice having him for the squad, or at least get compensated.

It's still a spot where we need an extra player for the summer to keep a broad squad, and it will cost money to replace him, especially in the current market.

I would much prefer we got rid of Henderson tbh and had Can and Keita in mid.

Sign a replacement now and stick him with the under 23's for the rest of the season.

Doesn't really give a strong message to other players if hes taking the piss but still playing every week

He’s not taking the piss though. It was his run in stoppage time at Burnley on the back of 2 90mins in 48 hours that won us the game, he was immense second half v Leicester too.

Yeah exactly. His slide challenges are immense (who else does that in the team?), his little dink balls into the box with his left foot, that scissor kick goal

The guy is unbelievable and will get even better. It's a massive shame if he goes.

I think he's inconsistent. But I've learnt my lesson from Couts.

I would rather keep him if we can, but I'll still not be massively arsed if he goes.

Regularly caught 'on his heels' IMO......it's a little cliche to say it, but the Italian league may suit.
