I think a solution will be found, as he clearly enjoys playing for the club and Klopp really rates him. The one concern is, as always the agent being a complete cunt, as they usually are

It’s a bit non commital. Saying all the right things but then parking the issue with his agent. His agent, who will only be carrying out Cans orders.
Hopefully he has committed to us privately and it is just a matter of the terms of the contract, but the element of doubt is fairly massive. The positives are in his performances where in general he is very committed, and passionate for the cause.
Fingers crossed.Modifying post.

Yeah I read someone on here suggesting he’s downed tools & isn’t giving his all which I found ridiculous considering his performances.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIt’s a bit non commital. With regards to the release clause, it must be City or another rival tapping up his agent to put it in. If they match the release, we can't say no. Otherwise, there's no way we would sell to City, Chelsea, Manu U. Probably offering the agent a decent backhander too.
Don't see why the club would have an issue with a release clause for an eventual transfer to Juve.
This might have changed now as we're flying high and on the up

you only need a release clause if your agent is suggesting it will give you more options when and if you want to bail out.
this is obviously all depending on him doing the biz on the pitch, and if he was tearing it up then teams would still come in for him anyway.
if you are **** then a release clause doesnt really help. its only *****bag italian clubs that ever seem to benefit from release clauses.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Giniwini does the same apparently.Originally posted by Nicey View PostI would like him to stay, but his agent has a track record of funny business. He plays extremely well in the big games but consistently goes missing against the lesser sides. That has got to be more about his skill set then mentality because I refuse to believe he can only get up for the big games or that Klopp could not address it. Therefore I can see him leaving for another league purely for football reasons, ie he is not suited to play in a Jurgen Klopp team were the vast majority of teams sit back and look to hit your on the counter, anytime he plays against a team that actually plays football he does well
I doubt it’s a coincidence.
Is it possible they are given different instructions against some teams and that style suits them better.

Both players played very well. One thing that boosted their perofrmances was the involvement of the 12th men. On numerous occasions they had the ball and with an opponent homing in on them (whether they were unare of this, or just holding the ball up a little too long) the majority of the ground was screaming "man on" to them. This really helped them to move the ball on quickly before losing itOriginally posted by BG1973 View PostGiniwini does the same apparently.

People also say GiW goes missing in away games but I think that might be in part due to a different attitude from team full stop.
I do t know enough about tactics but maybe he’s holding his position more rather than influencing the game.
