Yep. Plus I've seen little to no evidence of him being a quality right back or playing off the front man. He's a top class talent who is really showing his worth and has been very consistent for his age, but I don't agree with that initial statement. I don't think it was slated so much as brought back down to terra firma a touch.

He and the rest of the committee agree to all of the signings. Until he's the only one or until he's no longer part of the process, it's equal blame all round. Bottom line is we signed Lovren because the rest couldn't come up with anyone better.

Can is developing well, but let's not go overboard. He was always going to improve so no one should be too surprised by his form. But he isn't the reincarnation of Lothar Matthaus because he did well v Bolton. Long way to go yet.

Of course, but naturally some push certain proposals more than others. We know Lallana, Lambert and Lovren were Brendan's picks, and agreed to. Can, Markovic and others - proposed/recommended by Hunter/Fallows et al, and agreed to.

But it is equal blame/praise. Emre Can was a hell of a signing anyway.
