Starts tonight. Surely not playing right back?!

Germany XI vs. Scotland: Neuer; Can, Boateng, Hummels, Hector; Schweinsteiger, Gündoğan, Kroos; Müller, Özil, Götze.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Looks like they're trying our formation vs Stoke away last season. (I know Gotze can play as a striker).

It's strange how multiple managers have had him as a full back, obviously he's trusted to do a job anywhere because he's ****ing top quality but he's not exactly a typical full back is he?!

What a great half of football, Sco vs Ger. Can started off as a RB but pushed right up as Scotland were parking the bus. I was glad Germany scored early as I thought here we go, now lets see them press Germany's weak point, i.e. Can at RB.

He didn't disappoint, slightly switched off so when the ball arrived he had to commit a foul just outside the penalty area. Goal resulted from good freekick. Germany scored a second so pressure back on. Game was played down Can's side again. He had to concede a corner after a slight misunderstanding with Muller (words were exchanged between the two). Goal again from the corner.

I think we can all agree Can is not a RB.

Beasting going forward, involved in 2 goals now.

Maloney tries to break Emre's leg, ****ing yard dog cunt.

So Rodgers isn't the only cunt in town for daring to use him there? Low, what does he know?

Can improved second half. Scotland continued targeting him, even bringing the pacy Anya to give him trouble. Credit to Low for trusting him and Can for stepping up to the responsibility.

Scotland are a surprisingly decent outfit, or certainly played out of their skins today. Good test for Germany and Can.

Disappointingly Schweinsteiger was pure class. Was hoping his legs would be going but he still owned the midfield. Lets hope he now has a stinker against us.

Gerrard showed that if given time class is there for all to see despite age. But if you press and don't allow time on the ball the age shows up.

That's very true and one of the reason I actually think Schweinsteiger is a potential weak link at the base of the united midfield, especially if he is ever played alongside Carrick. I think he will flop.

We won't press him though, it's guaranteed.

Well that's the thing. I'm not sure we will press either. Not at a rate to tire him out anyway.

it was a waste of time playing him at CB last season when we could have put him in midfield and let him have the time to develop as holding/playmaker midfielder.

Anyone else get reminded of milan baros when can gets the ball. I like him but he doesn't half need to think before the sprint sometimes.

Nope, he's ****ing boss! There are some bad decisions but then he's 21 and runs himself in to the ground in every game. He's gonna be a better version of Souness, no disputing that!!

                              And welcome back!!!

                                Whoaaa hold on now Chris

He's played well recently; starting to play how we expected him to after pre-season last year. Seems more of a goal threat now as well.
