Played really well tonight, physically strong and disciplined, non argumentative for a change. He's a far better player when he keeps his mouth shut and gets on with things. Really stepped it up the past couple of weeks, he was going through a tough period and I thought he probably needed a rest having played so much and being young still.

Commentators seem to love him too, early doors they said how consistent he is and Palace shouldn't sit off him even on the half way line because he can hurt them.

Anyway, his work rate and strength are awesome. Helps he has a bucket load of ability to go with it he just needs to learn how to use it.

He and Lovren were immense covering the space vacated by Flanno. Once Toure came on and allowed him back in to midfield it made all the difference
