I'm not sure Can is the issue.

I think the problem lies with having both Henderson and Milner in the same team. Yes, both are like Forest Gump on steriods. However, both players lack creativity. Its ok to have one workhorse in the team but not two

I agree, especially after watching Leicester in the last couple of games against us and Citeh. Their midfielders are very dynamic and move the ball about swiftly and almost telepathically to their offensive players. Then I look at our plethora of carthorses

Yep, this squad has been put together horrendously. At the back we've got a load of players who all need babysitting, the clown in goal makes the clowns at centre back nervous but the clowns at centre back make the clown in goal nervous! None of them help eachother, they all take turns in getting injured aswell so theres never any continuity. In midfield we've got a **** load of good players but like you say they are all very similar, no goals etc. They also aren't helped with whats infront of them. Look at how amazing Can was v Southampton when Sturridge was there, someone with pace, running for him etc, Hendo gets loads of brilliant assists when Sturridge is about too. It's annoying always harping back to him but it's true, players of that quality help the rest. As it is we have a bean pole, lamp post whatever we want to call him there who wont move or a boss but pretty slow number 10. Surrounded by no pace from Lallana and Milner. We dont have many bad players I dont think and they are not as bad as they look right now but as you said the balance is just awful.

Plenty of occasions he picked the ball up against Sunderland in midfield looked up and nobody was moving an inch. I don't think Can is the problem, it's the forwards who are not making good enough runs, not helped by the fact that none of Milner, Firmino or Lallana are very fast.
