He's 20 I think that gets forgotten because of his stature.

Looks better in midfield but any game time is good for him at the moment.

An extremely poor first half bolstered by an improved second half.

RCB though? Wasted there......opportunity for him to play at CM tonight, why not?

Still a Rolls Royce of a footballer.

Have a bad feeling he's going to be savage, just not for us.

Someone like Madrid or Barca will snap him up and he will be amazing, much like what happened with Mascherano.

If he gets to Mash levels over the next couple of seasons, and we don't sing his name and wants to leave for a profit...

Gerrards replacement next year? Wasted at centre back but any game time he gets is beneficial

Anybody else see his little bit of skill towards the end once he was pushed into midfield, where he did a kind of rabona flick past 2 players?

At least thats how it looked to me

He looks infinitely more comfortable in midfield. I think it says something that he's holding his own in defence when it's clearly not his strongest position. He's still only TWENTY! He's going to be a beast.

He has the self belief and confidence to express himself and wants to play the game his way. As you say Pabs, only 20 years old! He is going to become one helluva player for us IMO.

He is a big fvcking clutz! Runs in slow motion like hes trying to knee himself in the face.

He has potential but needs to lose a lot of weight or learn how to run properly.

Not his best game individually. Tough conditions etc. but what stood out was that he was leading the line. A 20 year old kid who isn't even a CB and he was telling the other two to push up the pitch and get up. Shows how good this guy could be IMO. Or you could worry as to why one of the other two wasn't getting a grip.

Yeah agree Danny. I thought it was a game he'll learn a lot from. A real test of character for him. Again he's only 20. He doesn't look it, or seem it, but he's the same age as Sterling. For a CB that's a baby. I think all the signs are promising for him personally.
