Had a mare last night although did improve the last 20. My favourite out of all our young signings. Obviosuly like to see him at CM but good he's getting game time. Going to be a cracking player.

No harm playing brilliant young players out of position while you can as it is good for their team development & positional awareness.
This will benefit the team as when they develop further, they will develop that positional sense of knowing how the opposition will play the ball & react better to the developing situations & nullify the threat or limit the options of the opposition.
That way we can still guarantee the potential in them instead of being jack of trades & master of none if that makes sense.Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Yes he was in a new position, the same position that had some likening him to an elegant Hummells and a 40m player of the future.
Of course that was against PL opposition,so how would he fare against the mighy of Wimbledon.
Not good.......not even close to good enough for over an hour last night. Was the root cause of both of their early attacks, in conjunction with Manq's anonymous defending. Wasn't doing the basics right. Was getting pulled outside and up the pitch, and switched off on more than one occasion, criminally so early in the second half. Steadied himself for the last 30mins, but while game time is important for him, I'd like to see him getting more time in midfield. Looks too slow at times, so perhaps experience like last night is helpful in that regard.
High hopes for this lad all the same.
Then again, those last 30mins.........it was only a League 2 side."I will make the boys feel your support"

Saw more that encouraged me about him last night than I did to discourage me about him.
He did not play overly well in the first half but one thing he never did was try to hide.
When he got whacked he went straight back in against players and was prepared to take knocks in order to give back one or two of his own.
Showed plenty of fight, and when things were not going for him he just dug in and kept trying to force his game.
Compare that to the likes of Henderson in his first season. Henderson was a few years older than Can is now when Henderson joined us, plus he had a number of years of first team experience in the Premier League. But he would go missing in games and tended to shy away from getting into physical battles with players. Even now I feel that Henderson can be forced from games for periods if things get a bit tasty early on.
Can was the opposite against AFC Wimbledon. The more he got battered last night, the more he seemed to step up for the next physical battle.
Give Can another two years to develop and we could have a beast on our hands by the time he is 22.
Saw nothing to change my mind about him, and I think he is going to turn out to be a wonderful mix of physicality, and technique as he gets older.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
