He's boss. One of the few in the squad with balls and character, was one of the only ones who kept going yesterday, was up and down like a yoyo at times. Ran the show at City, took the piss out of Southampton, been solid/good in plenty of other games (as you can tell by the fact Perkins stopped talking about him and posting in this thread for ages but is back after 1 dodgy game. Welcome back, it's been a long wait hey?!).

At 21 he's exactly what I'd expect from a talented player, some good and some bad, he's doing just fine.

God forbid anyone have a balanced conversation about Can that doesn't involve him being "boss" or "God". Nobody has said anything wrong about the lad, so relax.

He is a big big big mixed bunch ... the only LFC player I know of who has been both the best and worse player on the pitch in the same match .. in the mood he looks like a world beater other days he literally looks like a 16 stone brick layer running down blind alleys

We need to start seeing some consistency from him

I think he's really good & has impressed under Klopp.

One of his best performances in a LFC shirt IMO.

The reason "you don't win things with kids" is because they are not consistent. He is a kid; give him a break.

Also, the difference between teams that genuinely challenge and others in the top ten is consistency.

We can beat the top teams but we can also lose to the bottom teams.

Can reminds me of Suarez in that he has that desire to win at all costs look about him. He's hard on himself if he gets it wrong & works his bollox off to regain possession. There's a lot to like about his attitude & his desire to succeed.

At 21 he looks more developed than Henderson was at the same age. And look how Henderson turned out with patience and game time.

He's regained the form that leads you to believe he'll become an established International.

He was immense tonight, really growing into a midfield role
