Thanjk you.

His yellow card tonight means he's out of the weekends match according to the commentator tonight. He needs the break & will be refreshed after the break.
Haven't really got all the hype about Can to be honest. Given he is good looking and has stunning hair i've seen few people raving about him on here, but haven't really got it myself. That's not to say he won't turn out to be a quality player, but for me at the moment I'm not really sure what he is or where he fits in. Doesn't defend well, doesn't dominate the midfield, 0 goals 0 assists in league. I like the way he bursts out ala box to box midfielder which IMO he might be, but She always seems to have a very heavy touch and lose possession.
Just haven't figured him out yet but haven't been impressed with the young lad.
He's a bit of an enigma right now alright, though you can see rays of quality now and then.......not much end product as you say Dan, and he's a great lad for losing possession whether that's trying a lung-bursting run into the final third or trying to defend.
I wonder would he develop more with some real, grizzled experience beside him in midfield. No, not Joey Allen's beard.

Jurgen Klopp June 2020
I agree he hasnt kicked on as I hoped this season. But that might be down to the fact that he spent last season all over the pitch and then this season learning his craft and switching managers.
He hasn't had consistency. He is 22 in a couple of weeks, so he needs to find his feet fast and start showing us more of what he is clearly capable of.
I personally thought he was much better at the start of the season under Rodgers. Seems to have dipped under Klopp, which if anything you would assume would be better for him.
I don't want to sound harsh on the lad but i've never really got what he is about. Utility man for us so far. jack of all trades, master of none & until he finds a position or a position is found for him.... I think i'll be saying exactly the same thing in a few months which is ... what is he?
As Mc said I love those lung bursting runs alal Stevie but they very rarely come off & often end in him losing possession and teams countering us. Definitely has not developed as I'd personally hoped & another one that seems slightly immune from criticism from some. He may be young but we really need better at the moment. We have no leaders in the team and I can't see how he is learning from any of out current crop, that certainly won't be doing him any favours.
That said, this season he has been played predominantly as a CM, a position he rarely occupied last year so it's all pretty much a learning process for him, and I think he's doing ok myself. He needs a settled midfield tho, which I think will be himself, Henderson and Milner. However, we've not yet had all three fit at the same time since Klopp arrived so he's had numberous midfield partners and numerous defensive pairings behind him, making it harder to form an understanding. Plenty of time for Can.
