Is it me or has he got faster and quicker on the turn too? He used to look so laboured over the first few yards and when turning.
Don't think he has gotten any quicker physically, but I think his reading of the game has come on a bit so that he anticipates passes and moves better which in turn has him on the move before a player can get a clean block or tackle in.
Was quite noticeable last night that he would take a couple steps away from the nearest marking player time after time and by doing so making himself a better option to receive a pass and of course meaning he had more time to move the ball on or move with the ball.
Whilst he does not come close to having the passing range of Alonso and probably never will, he does seem to be developing a reading of the games that brings Xabi to mind.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Sure a few others noticed it too... in the first half Can was breaking through the midfield and Bakambu took a kick at him, not once, but twice! You can't just do that! That's two yellows if we're being pedantic. It set the tone for the rest of the game.

That fella did two shocking dives aswell, then Clyne gets booked for breathing on someone!
