His beard is proper ****. Does he shave the front of his chin or can he just not grow hair there?

Are the 2 assists that he was apparently credited with yesterday included in that cause there's no way in my mind that they are assists?Originally posted by RedReet View PostSince his January break, he's played 5 league games, scoring twice and assisting 3 times. The only game he wasn't involved in a goal was the 0-0 against Everton. Factor in the goals against Chelsea and Bolton in the cups and I'd say he's in decent enough form for us.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Well lucky the PL don't use your mind to judge, or else I'd be struggling in Fantasy Football.Originally posted by SB View PostAre the 2 assists that he was apparently credited with yesterday included in that cause there's no way in my mind that they are assists?
Anyway, just like every goal a player scores doesn't have to be a wonder strike, every assists doesn't have to be a defence splitting pass. A forward can benefit from good wing play or a lucky deflection, it is still a goal if it goes in and they have the last touch, regardless of how much they know about it.
Specifically with Sterling yesterday though, the first goal from Henderson, Sterling plays a nice pass to him. Henderson makes the goal himself with a wonderful finish but without the ball from Sterling it isn't a goal.
For the second goal, Sterling receives the ball on the turn with 4 City players around him, he drives forward putting the defence on the back foot, taking Mangala out of position, before laying it off to Coutinho who does all the hard work. That goal couldn't have happened with the likes or Mario, Lambert or Borini on the pitch as it's unlikely they'd have been able to turn and run to start the move like Sterling.
As I said though, it doesn't matter how much he was involved, they are still credited as assists, but if you watch the goals back, there is no way they happen without Sterling's input. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
