So in this era of stats based analysis, value, moneyball, soccernomics etc etc we have managed to spend 45 million plus wages on one attacking player who did not score or assist in the entire season and another player who is on track to achieve that this season.

Brilliant. The ineptitude of our transfers is staggering.

Can anyone answer the question that has been killing me week by week:

"Why can none of our team shoot... with accuracy... ever?"

The odd 'worldie' aside, it does my head in game after game after game...

I still think we could get £15m for him. And £20m for Benteke. Sell both asap.

No chance we'll be selling Lallana in January. Probably in the summer. Benteke needs to be Robbie Keaned, and a replacement brought in if that happens.

Given the money in the Premier League I'd say that's achievable, maybe wages would put teams off slightly or either might not want to step down.

Lallana could fit in with a lot of teams but I'm not sure about Benteke most teams who use that type of player seem set.

He's a bit timid and meek isn't he?

No, Bojan and Delefeou are a bit timid and weak. He's stronger than both. Unfortunately he's just plain sh**.

he reminds me of a kid asking to play with the bigger boys he'll have a go and run around but is too weak to actually contribute too much to the game itself mind you he's got lovely hair he spends half the ****ing game combing it with his hands

One of his best matches for us based on his contribution to the match.

He retains possession so well. Great goal and assist!

Even Frank will need to give him credit today. He came in and helped turn the game. Deserved the winner, and superb assist.
