I don't understand why people are gutted? I felt more disappointed when Torres left, but we were in a bad place back then. Suarez helped us to get back into the Champions League and we're evolving into a competitive side once again. We have £75m to invest in the squad and we can buy some decent players. What's there to be gutted about?

But... Everyone wants more. More or less.
This time last year many folk wanted him to stay another year and help us achieve champions league, and then they would wish him well because he got us there.
Now I suspect that some people would like him to stay to win us the league, then let him have the dream move.
And if that happened, people would still be gutted because he'd be turning down a chance to build a dynasty for himself, like Dalglish or Gerrard.
It's never enough.Oh I don't know.

For me we've achieved what we wanted to achieve. Suarez is undoubtedly one of the best players in the World. We have an opportunity now to build and reorganise. If we invest well then we'll be competing again, but if we don't then it will have been a wasted opportunity. I trust Brendan Rodgers to get it right.

Edit - I see you got it, but for anyone else...Originally posted by Nigey View PostHow can we embed those vine videos?

Auto play means that it basically opens the video as a new screen instead of on a small portion of the screen as it's supposed to
Really bloody irritatingI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Luis Suarez: Barcelona may not formally unveil Uruguayan
Barcelona could be denied the chance to publicly unveil Luis Suarez when he completes his £75m move from Liverpool.
Barca have had a bid accepted for Suarez, who is serving a four-month ban from all "football-related activity" for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
BBC Sport has spoken to someone familiar with the process, who said a formal presentation and news conference would contravene the suspension.
It would prevent Barca repeating the event they held after signing Neymar.
Cesc Fabregas, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Villa have been introduced to the Barcelona supporters in similar fashion in recent years.
But while world governing body Fifa has already said Suarez, 27, can have a medical, it is felt any promotional activity for his new club would be a step too far.
It promises to be a test of Fifa's strength, though, given the severity with which it punished Suarez, who has also been suspended for nine international matches and fined 100,000 Swiss Francs (£66,000).
Suarez was banned after biting Juventus defender Chiellini during Uruguay's World Cup match with Italy on 24 June.
Fifa said "such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch" and on Thursday rejected Suarez's appeal against the severity of the punishment.
After initially claiming his innocence, Suarez has apologised to Chiellini but cannot play for his new club until November."I will make the boys feel your support"

Isn't it obvious?Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI don't understand why people are gutted? I felt more disappointed when Torres left, but we were in a bad place back then. I'm not as gutted as when Torres left, because that came relatively out of the blue and we've all been a bit hardened to this sort of stuff since. We all knew this was happening. And yes we're in a far better place now than then. I am positive about most of the signings, about Rodgers...but these are not mutually exclusive and I am sad that we won't see Suarez being a total genius in an LFC shirt again. He's just scored 30+ goals in a season full of utter genius. He scored/assisted 135 goals in his 133 games for us. So it should be obvious why people are gutted to see him go.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
